Tony Hawk Breaks Down How Activision Almost Fucked Him Out Of His Video Game Royalties By Offering Him A Check For $500,000

Imagine that? You're in your mid twenties, someone offers you a check for half a million dollars and you have the presence of mind to turn it down because you know you're worth more. Granted he was making a shit ton of money elsewhere but still, that financial decision literally set him up for life. His kids, his kids kids, and his kids kids kids (maybe) will not have to worry about money because great grandpa Tony was a savvy businessman.
