Hank Aaron's Grandson Celebrating the Braves' Title Is the Coolest Thing You'll Watch Today

If this doesn't make you tear up a little bit, I don't know what possibly could.

Raynal Aaron, Hank Aaron's grandson, was at Truist Park on Tuesday night with thousands of other Braves fans to see Atlanta win its first World Series title since 1995. While the final game took place in Houston, there were plenty of fans all over the field which has had a "44" cut into the center field grass all season to celebrate.

I know most Braves fans wish there was another title or two sprinkled in between 1995 and 2021, but there's something poetic about ending years of heartbreak in the season that was for Hank Aaron. Watching his grandson see it at the ballpark makes it that much cooler.

I love this team. Even if the Braves win another World Series in the not-too-distant future, I don't think it's possible to top the emotions I know so many people, myself included, felt last night. A season which started with the passing of an icon for not only the Atlanta Braves, but America, and included so much adversity throughout it ended with a World Championship.

For Hank.
