Guy Who Went Viral For Not Kissing A Girl During Wake/Duke Game Rants On Reddit And TikTok Explaining He Did NOT Reject Her

Alright so here's the video in question. Not exactly sure what was going on here but it's unsettling. Never and I mean never put your eyelids to me like that and start blinking like it's a butterfly kiss or something. Just weird all around. I know we don't kink shame here, but I like my space. I don't need to be eyeball to eyeball with someone, ESPECIALLY during my college football team trying to stay undefeated. It's literally not every day Wake is a top-10 team in the country. First time it ever happened.

And since it's 2021, something like this goes viral. It's as simple as simple gets. Guy seemingly rejects a girl on camera, someone catches it on Twitter and bam, millions of views. Not the first or last time we'll see this. What I do see as a first time though is the dude went to Reddit, created a throwaway account and posted what happened.

FULL POST HERE

Basically, I've been talking to this girl for a while and we just started dating about a week ago. I tell her she should come to the Wake game since we are undefeated and will probably win. She says yes. We go with a group of friends, and we are having a great time. Throughout the game we are flirting, hugging, kissing a little bit, etc. We also do this thing where one of us leans in for a kiss, and the other person leans away, which is an inside joke between the two of us. So, we do our little inside joke thing, and unbeknownst to us, we are being recorded.

After the game, I find I'm on the wake forest old row Instagram page, and within the hour I'm on the official old row page. Then, I'm on TikTok, Twitter, and apparently Reddit too.

Just to clarify a few things:

  1. She did not get rejected, we were just playing around

  2. We did not know we were being recorded

  3. If you want proof, check our TikTok accounts (hhhhggggllll and sandx.lop)

  4. It was also her first (maybe last?) college football game

Anyway, the internet is full of horrible people and I haven't done any work this weekend, so I'm gonna go do that now. Peace

TL;DR I didn't kiss a girl at a football game and now I'm paying the price.

edit: I'm using a throwaway so people don't read my post history, not to hide my identity, for all those asking.

There's A LOT going on here. First and foremost she did not get rejected. Let's set the record straight. No way would this guy reject her. Way to get ahead of the story with the first bullet point. I give him credit there. But then let's get into the other stuff. Of course you didn't know you were being recorded. You were watching a national televised football game. You're not looking around for cameras that are on you. Speaking of football games.

THAT'S NOT THE PLACE TO FLIRT AND JOKE AROUND. I know Wake fans aren't used to this winning thing, but you're there to watch football have some drinks and go crazy. You don't play lovey-dovey joking games during those 60 minutes. Be a fan. I don't care if it's her first (and likely last) game. You need to focus on the task at hand. Also gotta think people around you will 100% snap a picture or video in hopes of going viral if you're doing this shit all during the game.

Love the TikTok plugs. I did go there, because of course. Actually a way better response on there than on Reddit.

Saying 'I'm the Old Row guy' is laugh out loud funny. Need to embrace it. Hell he should have posted a TikTok with the same leadup but kissing her this time. Just embrace you're a viral guy for a weekend and joke around with it. Don't need a Reddit explanation that you guys have an inside joke of this. That's a weird joke. I don't care how new of a relationship it is. That's not an inside joke. It's just … weird, only way I can describe it.

Hopefully he got some work done though. Might be a peak Wake Forest student line there.

PS: What the hell is on his regular account's history? That's the most bizarre part of this entire saga. Just admitting you don't want people to see your post history means you're into some weird shit. Could have just left that part out.
