Nickmercs Absolutely Roasted Me Last Night

Short Kings, it's our time to unite. Together we may stand short, but low man wins (I think).

Last night, I competed in Nickmercs' MFAM Apex Legends Gauntlet. Nick and his mods selected 80 captains from his chat to have their Apex team compete in a custom lobby. If you're selected, you get to play 3 games and then the top 25% (or top 5 teams) from each lobby moves on to the playoffs. The video above shows the moment when Nick selected me from his chat of 25,000 viewers and then proceeded to absolutely roast me. 

Luckily for me, it doesn't end there! Myself, datboytmatt and extra_chedda were having a great run in the qualifiers of the tournament. We won game #2 and were looking good to qualify for the playoff round. Nick was spectating us at the end of game 3 and let's just say I suck my very real dog stole my controller during this next clip...

Regardless of my awful shots Due to our team's passion and resilience, we were able to qualify for the playoffs with the 3rd highest score in our group. From there, we advanced to the playoffs and a chance to win $10,000. Now this lobby was filled with true Apex Legends professionals. So imagine a JV baseball player going up against Randy Johnson in his prime...I'll let your imagine fill in the rest.

Regardless, the tournament itself was an overall blast, I wanna give a huge shoutout to the GOAT Nick for letting us join and I think I may have to get back on the Apex grind...
