I'm Not Sure What To Say About Virginia Tech Fans Storming The Field

Virginia Tech put on a great performance tonight at home against #10 North Carolina. Sam Howell's stats didn't look great, but I'm not sure it was 100% his fault. The offensive line play by UNC tonight was truly awful. It made Mack Brown age 10 years in 1 game:

To celebrate, VT fans stormed the field.

I'm not sure what to say about this. I've never wanted to be a DONT STORM THE FIELD hardo, but really, VT? After beating the #10 team? You're supposed to be the #10 team. I'm sure there was an aspect of limited fans last year contributing to the storm field, but I still can't support it. 

We need to start implementing some form of a rule. If you aren't AT LEAST a double-digit underdog, you cannot storm the field. I may even consider extending that to a 20+ point underdog. This is especially true if you're a program with some history, like VT.
