Bob Nightengale Fell For a Fake Jeff Passan Twitter Account And Reported Kris Bryant To The Yankees Because Of Course He Did

Bob Nightengale is inevitable. He will never rest until every piece of potential news out there is reported incorrectly. The worst to ever do it. I'm now under the impression he's either hammered piss drunk 24/7 or he's an imaginary person whose account is used to troll the world. I cannot possibly see a scenario where he still consistently receives a paycheck from his employer. The fact that Twitter doesn't give him the Trump treatment and label his tweets as misinformation is crazy at this point. He's always impossibly wrong. 

Today he was duped by this extremely fake Jeff Passan twitter account. A tweet from an account where Jeff's name was spelled with 3 fs and 2 ns. Unbelievable. 

Today was a crazy day and from 3:00 to 4:00 there were deals being announced left and right. People assumed a blue check MLB reporter would be reporting real baseball news and not be getting duped by a 14 year old kid in his room. Nope, never doubt Bob. Just recently he advanced Shohei Ohtani in his mind when in fact that just wasn't the case. 

I really think we need to weaponize Bob. Tell him like world peace will never be attained or that we have run out of water. This man has a gift and we're wasting it on sports news.
