Surviving Barstool S4 Ep. 3 | Shocking Betrayal Rocks the TribesWATCH NOW

Finding Out Your Favorite Waffle House Employee Quit Is One Of The Worst Pains Known To Mankind

I can feel this man's pain through the screen.

It's 1:30 in the morning. He's been cutting a rug for going on five hours. All he wants is a blueberry waffle and hashbrowns, served to him by his favorite Waffle House employee. And she's gone forever.

As I've said before, you don't go to Waffle House because the food is the best you're going to find. It may be at the times it's most frequently visited and it's the only place open, but that's beside the point. You go to Waffle House because it has a mystique and a feel that can't be replicated. It's a special establishment.

It's unfortunately one of the great clowns of our time, Bomani Jones, who perfectly summarized Waffle House as a "cultural experience, not a culinary one."

And I imagine the feeling WaHo provides is that much better when you have an employee at your hometown restaurant that you see every time you're there. So for that person to one day be gone in the blink of an eye never to return, I can only imagine the shock this guy must have felt.

Now I feel bad for this guy and really want an All-Star Special. Be sure to appreciate the good Waffle House employees while you still have them in your life.
