This MiLB Pitcher Recorded a Strikeout, Turned Around and Completely Showed Up an Umpire and Got Tossed in About Two Seconds

Indigo Diaz is a new hero of mine and should be called up to Atlanta immediately.

After blowing a heater by some overmatched hitter, Diaz turned around to the second base umpire who apparently blew some call the pitch before this — I'm not exactly sure what, but I'm taking this guy's word for it — and pointed right at him to let him know who got the last laugh. Diaz was then apparently ejected from a game which was already over as of that pitch, which actually an incredible power move from that umpire. Ejecting a guy from a game that's already over and that he's leaving anyway is the ultimate "I'm not owned."

But my new favorite baseball player Indigo Diaz is 4-0 with a 0.98 ERA in 11 appearances for the Rome Braves this season. And the Atlanta Braves' bullpen literally can't get any worse than it is right now, so let's just get this kid right to The Show. At a bare minimum, he can come in and give some of these uppity MLB umpires some of what they've got coming to them.

The point at the umpire is so simple yet so satisfying, too. Very reminiscent of some Kenny Powers energy.

I love everything about this kid. Ship him to the big leagues yesterday.
