Jennifer Lopez is fine... But Teófimo López has COVID

Seems like the news was broke (or maybe broken) within the last hour by my friend Mike Coppinger...

Obviously, I wish Teó a speedy recovery and I am disappointed that Triller won't get a chance to redeem itself for some of the boxing circuses they aired in the past by landing a real champion like Lopez to headline their card.

I was just talking to Robbie Fox about how Anderson Silva might fare as the co-main event and blogged this morning how J-Lo was allegedly making a surprise appearance... I was getting excited.

Oh well.

So I will shelve the interview I taped with Teo earlier (perhaps the last interview he recorded before he tested positive for COVID), and we'll move on because there is still a SHITLOAD of real fights this weekend, headlined by Jamie Mungia (DAZN), Jermall Charlo (ESPN), and Naoya Inoue (SHOWTIME).
