Brandon Jacobs Is Looking To Return To The NFL...At Defensive End

Big Brandon Jacobs is looking into coming off the edge and recking absolute havoc on quarterbacks, eh?

LETS GET WEIRD GETTLEFINGER!!! If Kelvin Benjamin can get a chance at trying a new position for Big Blue after some time off just like Tim Tebow did, why can't a beloved, two-time Super Bowl champion? Not just at any position either but by far the Giants' weakest position on defense.

I don't know if the Giants going the Madden route by changing the positions of established players is a Coach Judge thing or a bored during a pandemic thing, but I love it nonetheless. We know Jacobs can take the pounding of an NFL season, has the inspiration thanks to the inspirational king Tim Tebow, and is no stranger to contact.

I love that Jacobs attacked the play clock because Eli's biggest nemesis was always the play clock and delay of games

Quarterbacks are going to be light work compared to the linebackers and safeties Jacobs used to run over. All he has to do is get passed the superathletic giants known as offensive linemen. If Patrick Graham thinks he can make it work with Jacobs, you gotta give at least give him an invite to camp considering the depth chart. If Graham gives you the thumb down, you tell Jacobs to switch sides, hog molly up, and give it a shot at Guard in order to fill the Giants weakest position on offense. If none of that works out, Jacobs is still an absolute legend in Big Blue that was an absolute physical freak that defied science back in his heyday.

While we are talking about ex-Giants trying to comeback at a different position, I know he hasn't played football in years and I'm not even sure what he is doing. But let's bring Ramses Barden back into camp. I don't even care what position it is at. I'm at peace that he will not be the next Plaxico Burress, but maybe he can be the next Too Tall Jones? Also if Jacobs gets a tryout a defensive end, so does Ahmad Bradshaw, who will likely be awesome before his foot breaks in Week 4, plays through it until Week 12, before getting surgery for an injury that would cause mere mortals to jump off a bridge. God dammit I love those old Giants running backs.
