Aaron Rodgers Skipped Packers OTAs to Dance and Do Karaoke in Hawaii with Shailene Woodley and Miles Teller and in No Way Was it Awkward

There is no shame in skipping OTAs. None at all. The "O" might not stand for "Optional" like most people think, but it might as well. Workouts at this time of the year are not contractually obligated. And they are to the NFL what "I'm  gonna need you to go ahead and come in this weekend" is at Initech.  There are any number of perfectly good reasons for anyone to give OTAs a wide berth.  Especially when you just won another league MVP. Not that you have to even give one, or explain yourself to anyone. Collectively bargained rules is collectively bargained rules.

And if you're going to bag the practices, you could do a lot worse than hanging in Hawaii with Shailene Woodley and your buddy Miles Teller. A whole lot worse. I mean, I don't know why the thing was recorded on a 2007 flip phone. But like the kids say - or to be more accurate, what the kids said when they were carrying 2007 flip phones - this is totes adorbs. Slow dancing like it's the 7th grade Spring Fling in the school gym and you're trying not to leave a sweaty hand print on the back of her dress. Just being the only ones on the dance floor. The Hawaiian guy teaching them the local dialect like he's working a Luau for fat German tourists at Disney's Polynesian Resort. And best of all, the totally unique song selection. "Wagon Wheel" and "Shallow"? What an original, inspiring idea. Has anyone ever tried karaokeing those before? "Islands in the Stream" and "Piano Man" not available?

All seriousness aside, I had no idea Rodgers had such chops on the guitar. It's like there's nothing he cannot do. Quarterback. Product pitchman. Game show host. Master of the acoustic strings. Perfect fiance.

But if we're being fair, I do have one, small complaint. Miles Teller was rushing. Remember, there are no two words in the English language more harmful than "good job".
