WE GOT GAMER DRAMA - Nadeshot's 100K Invitational Warzone Tournament Caused A Feud Between IceManIsaac and Swagg

ROLL THE CLIP

Clean or dirty play? You should absolutely be allowed to swing 3-0 regardless of the score. It's professional sports for crying out loud.

Wait....wrong blog.

Okay, lemme break this down for you guys. Swagg and Booya (POV shown above) are facing IceManIsaac and BBreadman in a 2v2 Warzone Kill Race Tournament. This series in the Winner's Semi-Finals.

The format of the tournament is as follows - you and your partner queue into the same lobby as the duo you are facing (aka Swagg + Booya vs IceManIsaac + Bbreadman). Whichever duo gets more kills in the game wins the map. This series was a Best of 3 maps. This particular clip happened in Map 3. Therefore, both teams won a map and this game was the deciding factor.

Explaining The Clip/Sabotaging

When you are wagering (aka 2v2 kill racing), the most common drop spot is on the Hospital helicopter. This way you have significant mobility on your side and you are able to kill opponents that are flying into Hospital and the surrounding areas. IceManIsaac and Booya are racing for the chopper, Isaac WINS the chopper and Booya decides to hop into the passenger seat (always a risky move). Remember, they are on different teams.

Isaac makes a 200IQ play and throws the chopper into the building, causing Booya to die. The advantage immediately goes to Isaac's team, until Booya leaves the game because he thought "sabotaging wasn't allowed." Previously in the broadcast, admins stated that sabotages are allowed. Therefore, this play is clean. Here's further proof.

(Isaac talking to a tournament admin).

Without checking the rules, Booya backs out of the game (most players wait for admin confirmation prior to leaving). Therefore, once Booya left, the match should've either been DQ'd or Swagg should have had to play alone.

After reviewing the clip initially, Nadeshot decided to overrule this decision and lets the map get reset.

So let's recap for a sec - this is Map 3 of the semi-finals of a $100,000 tournament. Isaac knows sabotaging is allowed and wins the race to the chopper. According to the rules, he is fully in his jurisdiction to sabotage his opponent by crashing his vehicle. If this match gets played through, Isaac and Bbreadman advantage to the finals with the winner's advantage.

HOWEVER, Nadeshot ruled that the match will be replayed because Booya did not know the rules (which were given to him prior to the tournament).

Ultimately, Swagg and Booya ended up winner the replayed map which sent them to the Finals.

I am FULLY on Isaac's side here.

I will add this note, the rules should have clearly stated that sabotaging was allowed, it shouldn't have to be clarified through DMs. However, my vote belongs with Isaac and Bbreadman especially because Isaac went the extra mile to clarify what is allowed with an admin.

And now add more fuel to the fire, Nadeshot says that he should not have allowed the reset.

WHAT IS HAPPENING. You gotta stick to your guns, Nade. You can't go back on a massive decision that could cost competitors tens of thousands of dollars.

What do you think? Clean or dirty play?
