Potential Barstool Replacements To Be Kirk Minihane's New Producer

Today on the Kirk Minihane Show, producer Steve Robinson announced he'd be leaving the show. Although he will be staying on to finish The Case (which is a great podcast you can listen to here), it seems like his time as the producer of the KMS could be done for good. Kirk is looking for a new producer to replace him. Will it be an outside hire? Or will he look within Barstool for a replacement?

Let's take a look at some potential in-house replacements and how they'd mesh in the Minihane world.

Rico Bosco

Rico and Kirk have recently joined forces. Dave has said that there's no way this relationship won't end poorly. But for now, things seem to be running smoothly. There's also been a rumor spreading around the Barstool office that this may be another Rico squeeze out. The Cowboy, Lo Duca, Nadu, and now Steve Robinson leaving the show just weeks after aligning with Rico. As a Ryder, I don't see any truth to this rumor, but it is worth nothing. Regardless, the idea of a blowout fight between Kirk and Rico over an audio issue or something is certainly enticing.

Steven Cheah

Cheah and Kirk haven't always got along in the past, but this could be a fit. Steven Cheah has producing experience. He also has on-air experience. Steve was both a producer and also a second host at times. Steven Cheah breaking down his 39th ranked outside linebacker for the 2022 draft class could give the show a new wrinkle. Also is he already throwing his hat in the ring?

Something to monitor.

Lil Sasquatch

How would The King Of New York handle the Minifans? Sas, a young pup at 20, is known to have some thinner-skin when it comes to mean online comments. Surely he'd have no problem with the Minifans, who are never known to attack or say mean things. This could be a match made in Heaven. Either he comes out a new, tougher man or chooses to quit the Internet entirely. Could go either way.

Kmarko

Willie Colon

Uncle Chaps

Ellie

Hank

After getting emasculated by Jake Marsh on Stool Streams, Hank might not be able to work with him on PMT anymore. You can see he's already looking for other opportunities. Hank is a veteran producer at this point who has success with everything he touches. He'd be a welcomed addition. Unless someone else wants this role instead…

Jake Marsh

Being Kirk's producer is not an easy role. He can be an intimidating figure. But how would he handle the newly dubbed most intimidating guy in the office?

Jake Marsh bows to no man. If he wants this job, it's his.

Ben Mintz

Mintzy is the most positive person on the planet. Just a pure soul that radiates good vibes and positivity. I don't think he's ever said a bad word about a person. Mixing him into the Minihane world would be a hell of a shock.

White Sox Dave

I have nothing to really back this up. He just walked by my desk as I was writing this blog, and I haven't seen the two of them interact much, but I think it would be highly entertaining.

If there's anyone I'm missing that you think would be a great fit, feel free to throw more candidates out there.
