If A 36-Year Old Entertainer Like J Cole Can Get A Pro Basketball Contract In Rwanda, Then Surely A Pro Team Will Take A Chance On A 33-Year Old Blogger

I'll start with this. Credit to J Cole for chasing his dream of being a pro basketball player, which technically he is now. He's playing pro ball in Rwanda as part of the Basketball Africa League which is a league set up by the NBA and FIBA. But at the same time, J Cole is 35 years old. What 36-year old rookie is going to make any serious run towards the NBA? You already live an awesome life. You're incredibly rich and famous and can do pretty much anything. It's time to give up on your dream at some point. I learned pretty early on I would not fulfill my dream of being the head coach of the Knicks. I'm begrudgingly giving that to Thibs. He might be the better man for the job than myself, credit to me for recognizing that.

Contrary to belief, I actually played basketball. I don't need to go bragging about double-doubles in Massachusetts, you can simply google my name and see I started in a state title game where I set the record for most fouls in a game and forced Pennsylvania to adapt a new jersey rule. Nbd. But the point is, if we're making publicity stunts for pro teams to sign entertainers to contracts, sign me the fuck up. It'll make for great content and that's what it's all about. I'm two years younger than J Cole. Granted, I don't play at Lifetime, my pick up games are at an old school CYO gym and that's where REAL basketball is played.

This isn't new anger or a new one-sided rivalry by the way. I've complained about J Cole numerous times on here and his game:

I even complained when the Pistons pulled a publicity stunt trying to get him to try out for the team:

Anyone looks good shooting corner threes with no one around! That's not that difficult! Show me you can read the defense when they ice the ball screen. Show me you can attack drop coverage. Give me something here J Cole. I always wanted to play pro basketball too! Where's my chance? So if you're reading this and want some extra coverage on the best and biggest site in the world, you know where to find me. I'll be scouting J Cole's game when it airs in a few days.
