We Have Entered The Twilight Zone: Caitlin Jenner Is Officially Running For Governor Of California

Source - Caitlyn Jenner is throwing her hat in the ring to become the next governor of California.

There was a lot of talk that she might run and Caitlyn didn't stop the buzz. She made it official Friday, saying, "I have been a compassionate disrupter throughout my life, from representing the United States and winning a gold medal at the Olympics to helping advance the movement for equality. As Californians, we face a now-or-never opportunity to fundamentally fix our state before it’s too late.”

The Announcement:

She's not the only celeb flirting with a governorship. Matthew McConaughey is not only interested in running ... he seems to be leading the pack and even pulling way out ahead of current governor Greg Abbott.

You know what? Crazier things have happened. I don't think she's going to win, but she's going to make deep run based simply on the fact that the world's greatest mom-a-ger is behind her. Here's the teaser that was put out on YouTube a few days ago where Caitlin asked Kris for help with her career...

Is it a coincidence that two days after the episode dropped Caitlin announces her run for governor? Of course not. It's a calculated business move made by one of the most savvy business managers of all time. The woman who turned her daughter's sex tape into a multi-BILLION  dollar empire - Kris Jenner. It makes sense too, the Kardashain's are ending their reality TV run this year so why not get into politics? They've already made their money all they need now is more power. Regardless, California has basically been on fire for the past three years so it'll be interesting to see what celebrities think they can fix it. Oh well. What are you gonna do? Best of to the residents of California, they're going to need it. Take it away, Caitlin…
