BIG NEWS, SET YOUR ALARMS: "Dave" Season 2 Finally Has A Premier Date

Variety - Season 2 of “Dave” will premiere on June 16. The first two episodes will air on FXX and be available for streaming on FX on Hulu the following day.

“Dave” features Dave Burd playing himself as he navigates his relationship and the hip-hop world to become rap superstar Lil Dicky.

"Dave", Lil Dicky's TV show, was my favorite show that I watched last year. I liked it more than The Boys, more than Queen's Gambit, even more than Outer Banks. I think it's one of the most perfect 1st season's of television, ever. Not to mention, it features one of the funniest, if not THE funniest, scene in TV history.

So yes, I am undoubtably excited to see what is in store for season 2. I think Lil Dicky is one of the more creative, ingenious people of the last 10 years, so I am not worried about a sophomore slump. If the jail music video was in season 1, who knows what is in store for season 2. Nevermind the hike scene, which is another classic, and also the freestyles which remind you, oh yeah, LD is also an awesome rapper.

So sign me the fuck up. I'll have my secretary hold my calls and cancel my meetings for June 16th. Can't wait.
