Henrik Lundqvist Has A Minor Set-Back, Won't Return To Hockey This Season

Some minor bad news from Henrik Lundqvist today, but nothing to worry about. The last we saw him, Hank was back on the ice at the end of February for the first time since his heart surgery.

He seemed optimistic, setting his goal at returning to the team by the end of the season. Unfortunately, today his doctors told him he would require a few months more of rest before getting between the pipes full time.

No biggie, just a little more rest. It was his "stretch goal" to play again this season, which to me means next season he will be 100% cleared, in shape, and ready to rock. As he says, trust the process.

Let's win a Cup this year…and then another next year, just for kicks for Hank.
