A 7-10 SPLIT GOT CONVERTED ON TV FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 30 YEARS!!!

Arguably the most electric call of my lifetime. Put it in the hall of fame of broadcasting. 

Elsewhere I know the world has a golf tournament right now but can we stop for one second and appreciate the fact that Anthony Neuer absolutely bulldozed that 7-10? A lot of people have been saying since the early 90's that we may never get a live televised 7-10 again. Well guess what guys. All those people were dead fucking wrong as you see the 7 flop it's way into the history books. 

Truth be told it's not the hardest spare to pick up. That's a Greek Church. But it's still damn near impossible and there's really only one technique. You would naturally think you're supposed to slice it on the outside and get it to kick across but really it's the opposite. You're supposed to blast one of the pins dead on and hope it explodes off the back of the lane and kicks over. Think of it like a bank shot. Really only way to do a 7-10 is to use your backboard and this is a gorgeous execution.

I know this because I picked up a 7-10 a few weeks ago. I made a big deal about it on twitter. You don't have to believe me but I used this exact strategy. I got so fired up that I actually kind of collapsed into the ball return machine and just sat there. Emotions poured over me like a great tasting less filling ice cold 96 calorie miller lite. It was awesome. 

But this blog isn't about me. It's about Anthony Neuer converting the first 7-10 on TV in 30 years. Go get yourself a couple beers big fella. You earned em.
