Real quick for those of you who don't know- Lil Nas X dropped the music video for his new song Montero (Call Me By Your Name) over weekend. In the three days since its debut, the song has already gone platinum, was number one on iTunes and Spotify, and repeatedly trended on both twitter and YouTube. Which upset some people because in the music video Nas portraits himself having sex with the devil.

To piss people off even more, Nas then released a satanic shoe that sent the internet over the edge. So much so that everyone from the Governor of South Dakota to Gun Girl have been tweeting at him saying how terrible he is. The best part? Nas has been responding to every tweet with a quote tweet. With everything going on in the world you'd think people would have better things to worry about, but apparently voicing their opinion on a cartoon music video is at the top of their to-do list. Oh well. To each their own. Lil Nas X may be taking shit now but at the end of the day he's the real winner. He created a gay anthem and made a shit ton of money doing it. Can't wait to see what he does next.
