This JUCO Slugger Had the Cockiest Home Run Celebration You've Ever Seen
I absolutely love how much attention college baseball is getting this season, particularly at Barstool, but just in general as well. It's great to see. But we can't simply focus on the big boys and not acknowledge when we have guys in the junior college ranks taking big daddy hacks and humiliating opposing pitchers.
Enter Ranger College's Ciaran Palmer, who launched a grand slam down the left field line to lift his squad to an 8-7 win over Clarendon College on Thursday. But take a look at this cocky son of a gun out of the box. He stands just outside the left-handed batter's box to make sure the ball stays fair and give it a little deserved admiration before giving the bat a nice 720-degree flip on his way to first base.
On this alternate angle, I count a full 11 seconds from the time Palmer hits the ball to when he touches first base. He was in no hurry to be done with that one.
This is just some good, clean fun on the diamond and if you have a problem with it, you're what's wrong with baseball. Take longer next time, I say.
