The ACC Tournament Gets Hit Again - Virginia Is Officially Out And Forfeiting Today's Semifinal Game Because Of Positive Coronavirus Tests

Alright what the fuck ACC Tournament? Every other conference (except the MEAC) has been pretty good with teams not having to forfeit and leave the event due to positive tests. Yesterday we had Duke and today we have Virginia. It's pretty big in the sense of Georgia Tech is now in the Finals and Virginia could get hurt seeding wise. I'm actually curious to see how the NCAA Committee handles this. It's not a loss, but Virginia's resume isn't great. They could have gotten a good win if they beat Georgia Tech and then either FSU/UNC in the title game. They are fighting to stay as a top-4 seed.

Here's what we're not going to do though. We're not going to freak out because it's exactly a year ago from shit all getting canceled. Tournaments are happening all across the country and so is the NCAA Tournament. We'll find out more about the test as the day goes on, but remember they will have to test negative 7 times in a row for the NCAA Tournament. Tournament starts in exactly a week so we'll see all the logistics, again we'll find out more about that in the coming days. I truly feel for the kids here. They quarantine all year, give us hoops and then have to bail out from a positive test.

Sidenote, I can't believe this guy is coaching in the ACC Tournament title game

PS: Virginia's last tournament games are WILD
