Justin Bieber's New Music Video Is Basically Porn For Leafs Fans
There may not be anything in the world Justin Bieber loves more than the Toronto Maple Leafs. The singer released a new music video today for his song "Hold On" and it's basically porn for Leafs fans. The video features the teams biggest stars and them just lighting up other teams. If you're a Leafs fan I think it may be virtually impossible to hate this song now.
I think people are quick to forget the Biebs is a good old Canadian boy. Born in London, Ontario and raised in Stratford, the kid obviously grew up surrounded by hockey and the Maple Leafs. It's no secret Biebs is a die-hard Leafs fan at this point. From featuring Austin Matthews, Mitch Marner and a few other Leafs players in his Youtube mini-series to posting about the team on Instagram to his 166 million followers, it's pretty clear this kid lives and breaths Maple Leafs hockey. Which is fucking huge for the game of hockey.
Do you have to like Justin Bieber? No. But you've got to admit, for one of the most followed accounts on Instagram (in the entire world) to post about the Leafs and hockey as much as he does, it certainly isn't hurting the game. He's getting eyes on the NHL at the end of the day, isn't that the goal?
Next stop, a guest appearance on Spittin' Chiclets.
