Jeff Passan Just Put On A Trolling Clinic While Reporting Bryant Is Being Traded From The Cubs

What we have here is a Grade A troll on our hands. Jeff Passan from the clouds dropping a tweet saying the Red Sox have traded for Bryant from the Cubs. Blockbuster deal, has to be. KB is one of the better players in baseball, has been rumored to be on the move so this makes sense! Sure the Sox have Devers but they'd make it work.

Then you dig a little deeper in the tweet and realize Passan is just yanking everyone's chain. It's not Kris Bryant coming to the Red Sox, it's Zach Bryant, a 22 year-old pitcher as a PTBNL from a trade last summer. Passan is an animal for this. He knew exactly what he was doing, he felt feisty, he knew the reaction he would get, and he let it fly. I love it. Tim Kurkjian would never! Buster Olney would never! He even followed it up with the troll tweet too! 

Passan is probably sitting on his couch just laughing his ass off. He knows what he did, knew the joke would land and executed it perfectly. Jared tweeted that he almost drove off the road when he saw it come through, Passan passing out L's left and right. What a savage move by Jeff.
