The Mets Have Reportedly Set A Deadline At Noon Today For Trevor Bauer To Strike A Deal

LOVE IT. The Baseball Maverick is out here setting up showdowns at High Noon like Billy The Kid. No more pussyfooting around or subliminal tweets. Just a preposterously gigantic bag of Uncle Stevie's hard earned money sitting out for Trevor Bauer (shout out Robbie Cano for opening up a whole lot of money for this year). If Bauer takes it, the Mets shore up an absolute murderer's row of a rotation. If not, Trevor can enjoy the warm weather of Cali like countless other Trevors and we'll see him in the playoffs. I'm sure whatever video Bauer wants to make on YouTube can be uploaded within the next hour, so I guess turning on Notifications there is better than staring at Twitter for the next 60 minutes. 

I don't know if the Mets will get him or not, but I do know I'm excited it will all be over soon and not to trust a word Bob Nightengale says.
