I Completely Understand Why This Man Tried To Bring 22 Pounds Of Meth Onto A Plane In His Carry-On

As someone who hates checking a bag, I understand packing everything you possibly can into your carry-on bag. I will go on a 5 day trip with just a backpack rather than have to put my bag under the plane and hope it arrives at my destination. The last time I checked a bag I was without my clothes for 2 days, and from that day forward I vowed to never again risk it. I'd rather do the Allen Iverson and travel with nothing at all and buy everything when I get there than take my chances and check my bag. Yes, I think you get it by now, I fucking hate checking a bag. And even when they make you do it at the gate, I still try to smuggle mine on board. I will find overhead space if it's the last thing I do.

So I completely understand in theory why he had to bring 22 pounds of meth in his carry-on, it saves you a bunch of time and stress. And I respect him so much for disrespecting TSA so much he thought he could do the full 10 kilos. Imagine being TSA, so laughable that this guy thought there was a pretty fair chance he could walk onto a plane with $500,000 worth of methamphetamine. I don't blame him, we're talking about TSA here, they are tricked as easily as a dog when he thinks you threw the tennis ball but it's really still in your hand.

But as it turns out, 22 pounds is entirely too many pounds. You have to play it cool when you're carrying illegal narcotics onto a plane. You can be flashy about it. Maybe 10 pounds. Possibly 12 or 13. But it seems 22 pounds is when TSA's ears perk up. So just bad luck, I guess. $500,000 and two 5 Hour Energies down the drain. Which is hilarious. Dude has 22 pounds of meth and still buys 5 Hour Energy to stay awake. What a great employee, never getting high on his own supply. Judge oughta knock a few years off his sentence for that.
