It's Been 13 Years Since The Tragic Death Of Heath Ledger

Today marks the 13th year since the passing of an acting legend in Heath Ledger.

There is a great documentary online about Ledger and his life that is more than worth a watch, especially today.

It's such a great, personal look at the actor, who he was, and the love for him from his friends and family. 'I Am Heath Ledger', of course, also dives into his process of creating The Joker in 'The Dark Knight'.

Truly a once-in-a-lifetime performance…

One of the more emotional moments at the Oscars will always be when Ledger's family accepted the Oscar for his win in the Best Supporting Actor category…

It's incredible to see him receive the reaction and recognition that he did, but a damn shame that we lost not just an incredible talent but, by all accounts, a great person.

Rest in peace, Heath Ledger.
