After Last Night's Game Dwayne Bacon Called Out D'Angelo Russell For Being A Snitch On Instagram Then For Some Reason Deleted It
Guess we're still doing the D'Angelo Russell snitch thing huh? It's been nearly 5 years since Russell had the fiasco with Nick Young. Shit, we've already had a commercial about it.
Now listen, if you want to call D'Angelo Russell a snitch, fine. But don't be a pussy and delete it. You clearly think that of him, stick with it. I've said it before but we need more shit talking in sports. I don't care if it's on social media, it's 2021. Everything goes on social media. It's at least talking shit, even if it's Dwayne Bacon.
Shit, we all know Russell fucked up. Normally when you hear of a locker room beef there are two sides to a story. Gotta hear both sides. But this, I think we can all agree, is the first time a locker room beef is so clearly one person’s fault and so clearly fucked up that I’m actually shocked they didn’t just beat up D’Angelo Russell. This isn’t D’Angelo Russell isn’t passing the ball enough, or that he’s a Coach’s pet, or that he doesn’t put in hours in the weight room. Those are locker room beefs, this is a locker room fight.
At the same time, we know calling Russell a snitch is low-hanging fruit. So if you go for it, own up to it. It's like the pageviews game in a way. We all know long hanging fruit is the smut blog. People love it decades later and they'll keep loving it. So own it when you write a smut blog. In this case, Bacon needs to own it and just keep calling Russell a snitch. Why stop on Instagram? Take it to Twitter. Take it to your next interview. Once you post something on social media, it belongs to the Internet streets. Rules are rules here.
