50 Cent Files For Bankruptcy

Curtis James Jackson III, the rapper better known as 50 Cent, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Monday. In court papers filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Hartford, Conn., Mr. Jackson reported assets and debts each in the range of $10 million to $50 million.

The attorney listed on the bankruptcy petition couldn’t immediately be reached for comment Monday. The filing comes days after a jury directed Mr. Jackson to pay $5 million to a woman who sued over a sex tape, the Associated Press reported.

Nahhhh, wrong guy. Big mix up. Just never would have guessed the guy who has lyrics like “have a baby by me baby, be a millionaire” and “I get money” winding up in bankruptcy court. Never ever ever. It’s not like he was challenging people to read Harry Potter pages for 750k or anything. When you say financially responsible, 50 Cent is the first name that comes to mind. Nice joke internet, HA! Also no joke but doesn’t 50 have like 10 billion dollars from Vitamin Water or did I totally make that up?

Remaster Candy Shop and make a billion dollars tomorrow 50, this shouldn’t be that hard.

And by the way, yes I know he’s doing this to get out of paying someone and he still has money, still great to see him file for bankruptcy no matter what the circumstances.
