Just Gotta Beat The Eagles Next Week

Today was a disaster. Complete disaster. Some of the least fun I've ever had watching football. I was so hyped before the game. Doing mental jumping jacks. Telling myself Haskins is going to play good, Gibson is back, the defense is awesome, etc etc etc. Nothing went to plan. The muffed punt, Haskins being terrible, the horrific non-fumble call by the refs, and the Panthers converted way too many 3rd downs. It was BAD.

But the good news is the WFT still can win the division with a win at Philly next week. Jalen Hurts doesn't look great right now. They'll be deflated at practice this week. And all we need is a win to get in.

Who will be at QB? God, hopefully Alex Smith. Inject him with every horse tranquilizer and steroid in the world. If he can't go, have to hand the keys to Taylor Heinicke. I think you just have to. Haskins showed next to nothing today and Heinicke did. Am I confident in Heinicke? I mean realistically, no? He's a 3rd string journeyman. Can he move the ball though? We saw he could, so hey, let's get nuts. Nothing to lose, right? I mean besides the division, but you get it.

So yeah, shitty loss. All you can do now is donate to the Barstool Fund. I did. Felt good.
