Paige Spiranac Reveals She Hates Logan Paul And Thinks His Fight With Floyd Mayweather Is Nothing But a Money Grab
Gabe Ginsberg. Getty Images.Instagram golf star Paige Spiranac has slammed the Floyd Mayweather-vs.-Logan Paul fight as a “money grab.” And Spiranac has revealed she “hates” Paul ever since she received “death threats” from his fans.
Speaking on her Apple podcast, the 27-year-old from Colorado said: “It’s a money grab, there is going to be so much money thrown for that fight. “It’s insane that people actually want to see this happening. It’s insane to see someone with a YouTube following or social following can make this happen. It just shows how powerful that young demographic that everyone is reaching out to get now and the fact that people are talking about this is mind-blowing to me.”
Looks like we've got ourselves a little bit of a fight between social media stars with Paige Spiranac going at Logan Paul. I love it go off queen! She's out here calling Paul's upcoming fight with Floyd a "money grab." To be honest I don't think many people will disagree with her aside from Logan's crazy fans. I mean the ONLY reason Floyd is doing this is for the cash. You can't make Floyd get out bed these days unless it's for a BIG bag. Logan may think he can knock an aging Floyd out, but at the end of the day this is a giant payday for both. No one in their right mind thinks this is going to be an awesome boxing match… right? Floyd is just going to dance the entire match and not get touched. I'd be stunned if it went any other way.
On her podcast Paige goes onto say that she hates Paul and has hated him ever since his fans came after her following his suicide forest debacle.
“I said, ‘If you have a large following of a younger viewing audience, you have to be careful with the content that you put out there.’ And I think he should have been punished more by YouTube or his sponsors or there needed to be some form of consequence bigger than what he got. And I ended up receiving death threats by all of these kids in that high school, that they were defending Logan Paul, and so ever since then I have hated him.
Pretty ridiculous for her to go through that kind of shit for a very reasonable take, but that's how fucked the world is these days. Version number 458933220269 of the internet sucking. I won't stand for any Paige Spiranac slander around these parts. That being said I didn't expect to wake up today with Spiranac and Paul at war. It's kind of exciting, assuming we're past the death threats part. Personally I'm team Spiranac since I have a brain and consider us friends (she follows me on both Twitter and Instagram nbd).
