The Season Hasn't Even Started Yet And The Flyers Are Already The Most Disrespected Team In The League
Anything in particular stand out to you here? More specifically, is there anything in particular missing here that is standing out to you? Because according to the worldwide leader in sports, the Philadelphia Flyers Men's Professional Ice Hockey Team are shit out of luck for the 2021 NHL season.
The league hasn't even officially announced a start date for the 2021 season yet and people are already counting the Flyers out. The disrespect is appalling, it's infuriating, but it's not surprising.
And unfortunately for teams like the Bruins, the Sabres, the Hurricanes, Devils, Islanders, Rangers, and Capitals, ESPN is fake news. Unfortunately for all of those organizations, the Flyers still exist and they still woke up this morning despiste what the coward graphics department at ESPN would like you to believe. And they'll be right there in the East Division to wreak havoc for 52 or 56 or however many games the season ends up being this year.
Poor Alexis Lafreniere. Kid thought he'd be able to jump into the league and not have to get his confidence immediately shattered after getting brick walled by Carter Hart 4 times this season. Too good to be true. I'd hit him with the healthy scratch any time the Flyers pop up on the schedule if I were New York. Don't want to ruin the future of your franchise in year 1.
