Despite The Refs Begging, Pleading And Making Up Fouls For Nova To Stay Alive, The No. 3 Team In The Country Gets Upset

All things considered that was the worst officiated game I've seen since Higgins called Bam Adebayo for a bunch of fake fouls against UNC. But here we are. Despite the cheating. Despite the making up of rules. Despite Nova trying anything to be a winner tonight, it happened. 

Now here we are. A week into the season and two of the top-4 AP (a bullshit poll) teams lost. Honestly, Nova was lucky to make it here. They should have lost to BC. They scheduled Virginia Tech at 2am earlier this week and they lost to them. They had no business losing. Virginia Tech is not good this year. They match up well against Virginia Tech in the sense of slowing the game down and playing what they want. 

But they lost. They deserved to lose. Nova has problems. They don't have a great perimeter defense. They need that 3rd consistent player outside of JRE and Gillespie. They need to figure shit out, especially considering they held tempo the way they wanted tonight. Jermaine Samuels ain't the answer. The need that other guy.
