A Patient Recorded a Doctor and Anesthesiologist Talking Shit About Him While He Was Under, And Has Now Won a $500,000 Lawsuit (WHAT THE FUCK)

WUSA – An anesthesiologist and her practice have to pay a local man $500,000 after they were caught on tape mocking him while he was sedated at a medical suite in Reston, Va. Our news partners at the Washington Post report that the Vienna man had pressed record on his smartphone before his colonoscopy to captureinstructions from the doctor after the procedure, but later he discovered he had recorded the examination. The recording captured the surgical team mocking and insulting him after he went to sleep.  The conversation is shocking. The anesthesiologist calls him a “retard,” expresses that she wanted to punch him in the face at one point, and she “wanted to punch you in the face and man you up a little bit.” She is also heard in the recording warning an assistant not to touch a rash the man has because the assistant might get “some syphilis on your arm or something. She then added, “It’s probably tuberculosis in the penis, so you’ll be all right.” After hearing the recording, the man sued the two doctors and their practices for defamation and medical malpractice. After a trial last week, a Fairfax County jury ordered the anesthesiologist, Tiffany M. Ingham, and her practice to pay him $500,000.

I cannot believe this. $500,000 because people talked shit about this guy while he was sleeping. Unreal. Is that really a crime? It happens literally everywhere, at every second of the day, at every job, ever. So what she called the guy a retard? He wasn’t supposed to hear that. And even though he did, apparently that’s medical malpractice? Is checking the hemorrhoids box on the sheet malpractice? I mean better safe than sorry. She had a hunch and went with it. Pretty remarkable that he went in for a colonoscopy and ended up butt fucking them (BOOM, NAILED IT!). I mean sure, nobody wants to hear a tape of their doctor saying they have syphilis or tuberculosis of the penis, but it doesn’t hurt the guy. It’s just small talk while they stick a camera up his ass. Imagine if at your job you could get in trouble for things nobody was supposed to hear. Everyone talks shit about their clients, coworkers, boss, etc. Sometimes even on camera, on purpose, for thousands of people to see. The fact of the matter is everyone gets shit talked about them/talks shit about people all day erry day. This guy just got lucky and recorded it and is now $500,000 richer. I guess the moral of the story is to always hit play on you phone when people are shoving things up your ass.

PS: Goes without saying, but if you can make $500,000 for recording a private conversation of people talking shit behind your back, tow truck lady should be lawyering up big time right now. Fat shaming is worth at least a million bucks baby girl.
