NYC's Finest Have Apprehended The Scumbag Who Sucker Punched Rick Moranis. Now Give Him The Chair, Or Feed Him To Gozar The Gozerian.

NY Post - A suspect is in custody in connection to the random October assault on actor Rick Moranis near his Upper West Side apartment, The Post has learned.

A sergeant assigned to Transit arrested the man Saturday at 96th Street and Broadway; investigators were questioning the 35-year-old man before bringing him to Central Booking Saturday night, law enforcement sources said.

The suspect is a Manhattan resident with a history of 13 arrests, including five for felonies, the sources said.

“Thanks to an eagle-eyed sergeant from @NYPDTransit, this suspect has been apprehended and charged,” the NYPD said in a tweet.

The “Ghostbusters” star, 67, had been walking on Central Park West near West 70th street on his way to his nearby apartment when the stranger suddenly slugged him, knocking him to the ground.

Seems like the police only catch one side of media attention these days so when they get a big win like this they deserve the credit too. 

This Rick Moranis story was pretty fucked up when the video was released almost a month ago. It's pretty impressive the NYPD stayed on this scumbag and finally apprehended him weeks later even though the story pretty much became old news. 

Now the real question is what to do with this guy? 

There's no defense here. You sucker punch somebody for zero reason, and get caught on camera it's "see ya later". 

But these random sucker punch acts seem to be becoming a trend nowadays so I think we need to start making examples of people to prevent that. 

I have two propositions-

1- The chair. 

I'm a big fan of the electric chair. I don't think it gets the credit it deserves. Nor is it utilized enough. But that's a blog for another day.

Or 2- Feed him to Gozer the Gozerian.

Who the fuck is Gozer The Gozerian Dante?

Do me a favor young buck and go watch the original Ghostbuster's for me one time. 

Gozer was THE baddest bitch. 

Back in the day she gave badass kids like me nightmares for months. And her dogs were scary as fuck too.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Rick Moranis lives in real life right down the street from when he was living at in the film when he was possessed by Gozer. The connection has got to still be there. Call her up and get her ass back to the city. It might actually help the state of things that DeBlasio has let things devolve into.
