NFL Power Cheahkings - Week 10 Edition
I predicted they would lose to Carolina and it nearly came true. The Panthers are a scrappy team and needed a lot to hang close, but Kansas City is just on another level than the entire league right now. Change: n/a
Survive and advance. It wasn’t pretty, but they’re the lone unbeaten team remaining in football. They’re still better than the Champs though. Change: n/a
The Seahawks were the #1 seed in the NFC going into Sunday and the Bills beat the brakes off of them. Change: +4
The Bucs could have been the #1 seed in the NFC had they beat the Saints on Sunday Night Football. Nobody except analytics gawd Cynthia Frelund picked the Saints and they went on to completely embarrass the Bucs 38-3. They proved the road to the NFC South still runs through NOLA. Change: +1
They played an awful 1st half in Indy, but started to look like the 2019 Ravens in the 2nd half. Change +1
The Packers beat up on an injury riddled 49ers. I’m not reading a ton into it, but they handled their business and Davante Adams is a red zone machine. Change +3
The avoided a 3 game losing skid and dominated a rutterless Bears team. They also covered -6.5, so thanks Boys! Change +1
Their offense is very fun to watch with Russell Wilson and DK Metcalf among others but the dirty secret is it covers up a horrendous defense. Like historically bad. They’ve got some playmakers in Jamal Adams and Bobby Wagner, but they desperately newly acquired DE Carlos Dunlap to get in a time machine and be a real dude for them. Change: -4
Hard to have a worse showing than Tampa Bay at home on Sunday Night. Completely undressed in a game they likely had circled against the big bad wolf of the division. Tough look, hopefully they rebound because they are so talented. Change: -6
Maybe Brian Flores really knows what he’s doing. Tua vs. Herbert showdown will be a must watch. Change: +3
Yes they just lost to Vegas, but they’re on the come up. They had a bye this week and it looks like they’re also getting their superstar RB Nick Chubb back this week. Change: +4
Kliff Kingsbury needs to grow a pair. 4th & 1 down 3 with 2 minutes left he opts for a 49 yard FG?! Wild move that may have cost them a W. Change: -2
They also moved up with a bye this week. They’ve got a showdown with the rival Seahawks this week in the Sunday afternoon showcase. Change: +3
Yes they just beat Cleveland, but they really should have lost to the Chargers and their defense is taking longer than expected to come together. Change: -2
Philip Rivers is just done, which is a shame because their defense is legit. Change: -4
Raheem Morris is a good coach. He had a horrible flame out in Tampa, but he led a very young team to a 10-6 record and was considered a younger Mike Tomlin. He’s been through the ringer and he is getting this Falcons team to do what Dan Quinn couldn’t, play winning football. Change: +10
They had a bye and add to their division lead in the process. Change: +4
They were a 67 yard FG away from beating the #1 team in football. Nothing but respect for this scrappy group. Hard to put them above Atlanta after the TNF game and Christian McCaffrey’s status for this week being in doubt. Change: -3
Eddie said it best, this offense sucks ass. They lost to the Titans by 7 but that score was in no way indicative of the putrid day the Bears put together. Change: -5
Another team coming off a bye and stretching a win. They’re a frisky team and Joey B is the real deal. Change -1
They eeked out a win at MetLife vs. the disgraceful Jets. They should be better, but they’re not. Change: +6
Dalvin Cook is making his case for the best RB in football, but they still have Kirk Cousins at QB and that will always limit them. Change: +2
This team consistently finds way to lose, but they’ve got legit firepower and Justin Herbert is the real deal. Change: +2
Their win total is greater than their ranking would indicate, but they have just been too snakebit by injuries this year. Change: -6
The Lions were such a trendy pick to be decent this season. But they’re still bad. Time is a flat circle. Change: -2
Drew Lock is a hollow yards machine. I can confidently say he’s not a confetti QB. Change: -6
Daniel Jones is a WFT killer. 4-0 against them in his career and the Giants are a quietly frisky team. They almost exclusively play one score games. Change +2
They beat the Jake Luton led Jags. No change here. Change: n/a
This team has some fight in them. Hard to argue that. Change: +1
They gave a great effort vs. the Steelers but just came up short. I’ll move em’ up from the #31 spot. Change: +1
Did Dwayne Haskins do something to Ron Rivera? Alex Smith is done. At least Haskins has some potential to be something one day. Change: -10
Joe Flacco played admirably, but they’re destined to get the #1 pick. Change: n/a
