Pete Carroll Went Bananas in the Locker Room After the Seahawks' Comeback Win on Sunday

It seems safe to say Pete Carroll was sufficiently fired up following the Seahawks' dramatic comeback win over the Vikings on Sunday Night Football. After Vikings coach Mike Zimmer chose to go for it on fourth down instead of kick a field goal which would have given Minnesota an eight-point lead, Russell Wilson drove Seattle down the field and scored the game-winning touchdown with just 15 seconds remaining.

And then once Seattle went back into the locker room, its 69-year-old head coach seemed ready to run through a brick wall. When Carroll finally got to, "Can you win a game in the fourth quarter?!" I felt that.

After having Dan Quinn as my team's head coach for the last five and a half seasons — who would just constantly spew platitudes and drivel after losses — it's nice to see there are NFL coaches who you can tell actually give a shit what happens in the game. And when you have Russell Wilson and D.K. Metcalf, you're probably going to have a good time because you'll win a lot more than you lose.

I don't know how long Carroll wants to keep coaching at his age, but he seems like he's young enough at heart to keep going for quite some time.
