Campus Floods So Kids Kayak Through White Water Rapids To Class
[via Reddit] – So it was flooding at uni today… I was walking to class and saw this. Otago university in Dunedin, New Zealand.
Campus on a normal day, for reference:

Pretty cool. But more importantly…what type of psycho goes to class in the middle of a god damn flood? You kidding me with that? It’s college. Conditions have to be absolutely ideal to even consider going to class, and even then it’s a 50/50 shot. Seriously if it was like 1 degree below the average Atlanta temperature or a gust of wind hit my window just a little too hard in the morning I would just throw those covers right back over my head and worry about getting the notes later. If there was a 3% chance of light drizzle on the walk there or back it was basically an automatic to take the shoes off and fire up the Playstation.* Flooding so bad it turns campus into the rapids of Colorado and people have to whitewater kayak to lecture? Yeah right, see you next semester.
At least that’s how an English major who will eventually become a blogger operates. These kayak bros were probably pre-Med and late for an Orgo final.
