Original Wonder Woman Lynda Carter and Her 29-Year-Old Daughter Make a Nice Pair

Daily Mail - Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter and daughter Jessica Carter Altman make quite the dynamic duo.

The TV star, 69, and her youngest child, 29, looked like they could be sisters as they charmed Access Daily's Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover in a new interview.

The beautiful brunettes were glowing as they opened up about their close bond, with Jessica calling her mom 'even more wonderful' than her superhero alter-ego.

'She embodies the character every single day,' lawyer/singer Jessica told Access.

With all due respect to Gal Gadot - and trust me, no one has more respect for Gal Gadot than I do - Lynda Carter is what we used to say back in my town, the OG Wonder Woman. You kids may know her as Governor Jessman from the "Super Troopers" franchise.

But to those of us from a generation raised on Pong, Quisp cereal and broadcast television, Lynda Carter was our Diana Prince. And her Wonder Woman was the only superhero we had other than "The Incredible Hulk." Because as long as we had her, we didn't need a cinematic universe.

"In your satin tights/

Fighting for our rights/

And the ol' Red, White & Blue."

Damn right she did.

Back then when she basically jump started my puberty and those of millions of American boys like me, we all guessed she would be this incredible deep into her 60s. What no one could've predicted is that she would have a daughter as strong, accomplished and remarkable as she is. But we should have. It's science.

It's genetics, really. It's no wonder (pun intended). When you've got a mother as genetically perfect as Lynda Carter, it only makes sense she'd raise a daughter like Jessica Carter Altman. Who can probably also "Make a hawk a dove/ Stop a war with love," just like her mom did back in the day. The only regret is that she didn't have dozens of Amazonian princess children to strengthen the gene pool even further. Because they too would likely grow into their 70s while still being this amazing. Name a better mother/daughter team in the world right now. You can't.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to find old episodes of the show to find out exactly which one made me into a man. You young guys don't know what you were missing.
