Bill Murray Turns 70 Theme Week concludes with this from his first, and still one of his lesser celebrated starring roles, as camp counselor Tripper in 1979’s “Meatballs.”

How great has his career been? That you can do a weeks worth of tributes without mentioning his most iconic roles like “Ghoatbusters,” “Stripes,” “Groundhog Day,” or any of his critically acclaimed art  house films like “Lost in Translation” or the Wes Anderson catalogue. Maybe next September when Murray turns 71 I’ll do a theme month. The man is that much of a legend.
