Like him or not, David Letterman has been a comedy staple for over 30 years. If anything I think he held on a little too late. It would’ve been perfect if he exited stage right after his heart scare. For the past couple years it seems like time has caught up and passed right by the dude. And him being a notorious womanizer kind of gives him the creepy old guy feel. Regardless, the man’s an icon and tonight should be one for the highlight reel. Good Lord willing Drew Barrymore’s silver dollars will say hello again.
