Dustin Johnson Wins The Tour Championship, The FedEx Cup And Makes Himself 15 Million Dollars Richer

We're about to hop on and record an instant reaction on Fore Play but I just wanted to make people aware of few quick things in terms of what we just watched. Prettyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy good month for Dustin Johnson huh? And by pretty good I mean one of the best fucking months in the history of human existence.

Here are his finishes in the month of August

That includes blowing the field outta the water at TPC Boston with a -30 (the closest person that week was Harris English at -19) and coming about as close as you can to winning the BMW Championship in an epic putt-off against Jon Rahm. And then of course the first place finish for today's Tour Championship. Prettayyyyyyy prettayyyyyy pretty good. For those wondering at home DJ made $18,704,000 over that stretch. That's how much money DJ made IN THE LAST MONTH. Almost 19 million dollars. That's more money than all of us will see in our entire lives, DJ did it 45 days. Fucking insane. That takes his career earnings on the golf course to around 85 million bucks. The dude has been stupid consistent for most of his career and he has been paid handsomely for it. Today he won his first FedEx Cup and there was a 15 million dollar cherry on top. DJ has simply been on another planet these last few weeks. He deserves it.

This right here was the biggest shot of the day for DJ imo

Canning that longgggggg par putt as Xander Schauffele and Justin Thomas were nipping at his heels was as important as any birdie he made today. His lead falls to one shot if that putt doesn't drop and then who the hell knows what happens after that. Draining that putt kept a comfortable distant between him and the field. DJ was cruising the rest of the way.

Again, DJ made 19 million dollars over the last 5 weeks. It's good to be Dustin Johnson.

One last thing

It's very good to be Dustin Johnson.
