Who is Andre Marhold? For all intents and purposes he's just a regular guy. He played basketball at Duquesne from 2009-2013 then went on to have a below average career overseas. I had honestly never heard of him until today when his name started popping up on my twitter after cosmetics mogul/YouTube super star, Jeffree Star, posted this photo on their IG...

Twitter detectives immediately got to work identifying the tattoos in the photo and voila, it turns out they belong to Andre Marhold. Not a big deal right? WRONG. The story has since picked up steam and people on the internet are obsessing over it...

You get the idea. Which brings me to my point- why does anyone care? Why is this a big deal? Can't we just leave the guy alone? Let him live his life? He clearly isn't hiding. Jeffree posted this photo of the two them on their twitter yesterday…

Yikes. It's a sticky situation for everyone. The good news is, Starr is worth about $200 MILLION so the transition should be easy for Marhold. 

At any rate, let's stop making a big deal about this stuff. People of all shapes/sizes/colors/religions/occupations/whatevers are gay. Even gasp basketball players are gay! Can you believe that?!? Best of luck to these two in the future. Hopefully it all works out in the end.
