Wake Up With Jose Bautista Smoking His First Career Home Run

There was a 4 or 5 year period where Jose Bautista was one of the most dangerous hitters in baseball. If you put a ball in the strike zone there was a chance he'd deposit it into the seats for a souvenir. He was a staple on those Toronto teams, but he took the long path to finding a home for himself. He was a member of the Orioles, Devil Rays, Royals, and Pirates before finding a spot in Toronto. Classic late bloomer. First career tater was as a member of the Pirates though, and he helped himself out by hitting it into his own bullpen. Won't have a problem getting this one back. He absolutely smoked it too. Didn't have the same leg kick as we saw in Toronto, but still had that swing. I'd have preferred if he stayed in Pittsburgh instead of tormenting the Orioles for all those years, but what can ya do.
