Confession: I Am Completely Obsessed With Surfer Jamie O'Brien's VLOG

A little something about me- I want to be a surfer. Not so much in the sense that I want to learn the sport, more in the sense that I want to embrace the lifestyle. It all started nine years ago when I went to a friend's wedding in Hawaii. He was stationed there and his wife was a local so she really gave us the full experience. Ever since then I've dreamed of leaving it all behind and becoming a beach bum. But because that's not a reality, I follow a bunch of surfers on the internet and live vicariously through them. My favorite being Jamie O'Brien. He's a 37 year old Hawaiian local with one of the headiest YouTube accounts on the internet. 

In today's video he set up a high speed winch on the beach with his buddies and just RIPPED it up....

Then he paid some kid to ride his bike off a dock...

Met up with his outrageously radical video editor…

Then did a little hydrofoiling on the North shore…

That's it. That's his entire life and I am insanely jealous of it. Thirty-seven years old and he's living the goddamn dream. It feels good to finally get this off my chest.
