Haha, such a classic little Twitter rat move by Rovell. The passive aggressive call out, “Haha Doug look at this silly prediction you made, oops, we all make mistakes, hey 600,000 Twitter followers, check out how big a dummy Doug Gottlieb is for saying this, then retweet it a bunch and spread it around.”

Love Doug’s response too.

The old “I’m cool with it but I’m totally not cool with it and I’m seething with anger inside right now and will remember this until literally the day that I die,” classic.

Also, I’m all for putting analysts on blast when they make horrible calls, it’s all in good fun. If you’re going to make predictions on a national stage you have to be willing to take your lumps when you’re dead wrong, and Doug Gottlieb was DEAD WRONG obviously. Having said that if you thought this kid was going to be one of the best players in the NBA and future league MVP when he declared for the draft you were either a psychic or psychotic.
