Will Ferrell Is Now Giving MLS Halftime Interviews Wearing Ricky Bobby's Helmet While His Kids Are Eating Corn In the Background

I'll be honest, I have no idea what the fuck is going on here. Clearly Will Ferrell is trying to be funny, he's a funny dude. But this is just bizarre. Whether it's the delayed responses, the Ricky Bobby helmet out of nowhere, the kids eating goddamn corn in the background. Let's talk about corn for a second too. It's delicious. Corn on the cob is awesome, throw some butter, some Old Bay and a little parmesan cheese on there and treat yourself. But it's the worst unless you're directly next to a pound of floss and your toothbrush immediately after. Just a weird thing to eat in the background of this interview. It reminded me a bit of the Vrabel household from draft night: 

My only question to Will Ferrell though is why go Ricky Bobby? If you're going to go Ricky Bobby helmet why not get into the character completely for the interview with the cockiness and not knowing what to do with your hands. But Will Ferrell played a soccer coach in a movie! Just go right into Kicking and Screaming! Start yelling at your kids about passing the ball to the Italians and getting juice boxes. Seems like a no-brainer to me. 

It's more just bizarre to me to see Will Ferrell completely bomb on a bit. Unlike that crazy person WSD who says he doesn't like Will Ferrell movies, I love them. Think he's awesome. But this? Yikes.
