Fireworks, baseball, and Ray Charles. Find a more American movie scene in the history of cinema. You can't. It's the absolutely perfect way to roll into our nation's birthday weekend. It may not be pretty right now considering two of the three things I just mentioned are pretty much shut down due to corona and the third has been dead for years. But this country will bounce back because it always has and always will.
