Recapping the Electric Start to Eric Andre’s Interview With Pardon My Take

To send you into the weekend, Pardon My Take welcomed on comedian Eric Andre to the show. Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter discussed his new standup, "Legalize Everything," humor, pranks, and drinking. That's a long list, but the way this interview started was nothing short of all over the place. Andre came in with some onomatopoeia. (remember that word?), and things went as you would expect from there...

Eric Andre: Pew pew pew pew pew pew pewwwwwwww

Mr. Cat: What's up man?

Mr. Commenter: How's it going? That's how we should start our interviews, with a reggaeton horn.

Mr. Cat: Yeah, we had a reggaeton for the first two episodes. Everyone was like "Duuuude, we don't want to listen to that every four minutes." Soooo, yeah, that was a good start. It's Eric Andre and he just left.

*12 seconds later*

Mr. Cat: I think actually a guest that our fans have wanted on for a very long time, we appreciate you joining us. 

Eric Andre: How much you bench? 

Mr. Cat: Actually, I benched today, so probably a little less right now because I'm a little sore, but you are noticing our squat rack. 

Eric Andre: Let's see you do five reps.

Mr. Cat: We basically put this in as a joke, but we're really closet meat heads, "Let's bench while we podcast."

Eric Andre: I don't want excuses, I just want results. 

Mr. Commenter: How much do you bench? 

Eric Andre: 450. 

Mr. Cat: Damn. What are you eating? 

Eric Andre: Strawberries, blueberries, tomatoes.

Mr. Cat: That Hollywood life. 

Eric Andre: You know Hollywood, always eating fruit. 

A funny guy, and a funny interview overall. Eric Andre also pretty much gave us a tour of his house throughout his chat with Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter, as he walked around with his laptop as it went along. Can't get this Airhorn sound effect stuck out of my head now.
