Mad Men's Season Premiere Opened With An Insanely Hot Chick Who's Actually A Famous Daughter

Uproxx – The opening scene of Mad Men this week featured a woman auditioning in front of Don Draper for a commercial, wearing little else but a $15,000 chinchilla coat.

What you may not have realized, however, is that the model from that scene is the daughter of another famous actress, Andie MacDowell, best known for her roles in Groundhog Day and Four Weddings and a Funeral. MacDowell’s daughter’s name is Rainey Qualley, and she was the 2012 Miss Golden Globe. Interestingly, she also played MacDowell’s daughter in the 2012 movie, Mighty Fine

So here’s a question: Is anyone besides pretentious media types even watching Mad Men any more? I’ve been watching it since the first season because a lot of people I respect made me feel like I should and I have enjoyed a good amount of it, have been bored to tears by other parts, but it’s the last season so I’m locked and loaded because I’m a big time finale guy. And while I found the season premiere enjoyable enough (I may have been slightly influenced by Xanax, full disclosure), this Rainey Qualley chick was one of the main parts that jumped out at me. Piercing eyes, little bit of brow, sexy as hell camera presence. So to find out she’s related to Andie MacDowell, whom I know is famous but really only remember from Groundhog Day, that’s more than enough reason to dump some pics on you and call it a day. Based on all that one movie I know of her, I thought Andie MacDowell would be above giving her kids an asshole name like Rainey but hey, can’t argue with the final product either way.
