Bill Maher Made A One Direction/Marathon Bombing Joke And People Are Not Pleased
Not really sure I see the big problem here. Was it a great joke? No. Does he look like Terrorist number 2 in those carefully selected photos? Yeah, a little bit. That’s not Islamophobia or racism, it’s just two kids who kind of look alike in certain pictures. I mean the main gripe with that Rolling Stone cover was that they made Terrorist #2 look like a rock star, not that big of a stretch to take a picture of a rock star and say they look comparable. This is just the internet looking for outrage. Two years ago we were mad because we thought Rolling Stone made a terrorist look like a celebrity and now Bill Maher made that exact comparison but this time it’s bullshit because there’s nothing else to get outraged about at the moment. Quit being so uptight. It’s a little joke. No one thinks Zayn is a real terrorist, just a terrorist of our hearts for leaving One Direction.
